Facebook Messenger live customer chat plugin for your website!

This month (Nov 2017) Facebook has announced that it is introducing a Messenger customer chat plugin for websites.
This means the Messenger icon will appear on your selected web page and prospects and customers can initiate Facebook conversations from your website.
This integration will allow you and your customers to communicate effortlessly across platforms whether that be laptop/web, mobile or tablet. The plugin automatically loads any recent conversation you have had in Messenger (via messenger.com, the app or website chat). You will not lose conversation history by chatting on different devices, so you don’t need to capture contact information each time. You can also still use other rich media functionality – the plugin supports all current capabilities.
This customer chat function is currently only available to Facebook’s Beta partners (which include Air France, Argos, KLM and Mermaid Pillow).
